World 8 Ball Masters 2006

Suffolk County Pool Association has the opportunity to put forward two players to this prestigious event.  In order to select up to two players there will be a singles competition to be held at Premier Pool Club, Ipswich on 19 February with an entry fee of £10 per player.  The SCPA qualifiers are only open to players from leagues affiliated to Suffolk County Pool Association.

Subject to entries, the winner and runner-up will be offered free entry to the Masters.

Players who are currently on the IPA tour are not elligible to enter the Masters event this way.  Instead, they will be given an opportunity to enter via the IPA.

The finals will take place at Norbreck Castle, Blackpool on 10/11 June 2006 where there will be 128 players from each of:-

• English Pool Association (EPA)
• World Eight-ball Pool Federation (WEPF)
• International Professional Pool Players Association (IPA)

For any EPA players not able to gain entry through the County Qualifiers, there will be a further 16 places up for grabs at Great Yarmouth on Friday 5 May 2006, immediately prior to the Golden Cue tournament.  Entry to those qualifiers will be £20 for EPA cardholders.

Note:-
If there are too few entries to the SCPA Qualifiers, it is possible that only the winner will be given free entry and the runner up may have part of his entry paid but this would be at the discretion of SCPA.  If only one place is allocated after this competition, SCPA may run a further competition to allocate the second place or offer it to a player willing to pay the full entry fee.
