COUNTY TRIALS 2001

We require good pool players with a strong team spirit to help us win the 2001 Inter-County Pool Championship.

Come along and try your skills against other players in the County. Show you’ve got what it takes and you could be representing the County for the coming season!

Worried that you're not good enough? You would be surprised. County players come from ordinary leagues. If you are simply a better than average league player, there is a good chance you could perform well at the County level. I know there are excellent players out there in the leagues who are easily as good if not better than most County players. Come along and give it a try. What have you got to lose?

Don't forget! We are also looking for Junior players, so if you have sons or daughters, or know any young pool players, (they do not have to play in a league) bring them along to the Junior Trials.

This year, trials will take place as follows:-

Juniors*	Saturday 3 February 2001 at 10.30 am	Ł2 Entry - FREE Tables!
Men	Sunday 4 February 2001 at 10.00 am	Entry FREE!
Ladies	Sunday 11 February 2001 at 11.30 am	Entry FREE!

*Junior trials open to all players who will be under 19 on 31 Dec 2001 <top>

Inter-County matches start at 1pm and usually finish before 6pm and are played on a home and away basis one Sunday per month starting in March. Region 4 counties include Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambs, Beds, Herts and Essex.

Junior trials are open to all players who will be under 19 on 31 Dec 2001. Juniors will be offered regular training sessions throughout the year on free tables.

On the men’s trials date, there will be a brief explanation of the World Rules at 10.00am for anyone not familiar with them or who would like a refresher, trials will commence from 10.30 am and will probably be run using the Modified Swiss System.
